Game Recap: Giants 4, Padres 3

Nice way to end the series. Giants took three of four, on the road, against the Padres. They managed to score a total of nineteen runs at PETCO. I'll take that any day with this offense. A few brief notes:

-- That was Matt Cain at his finest. He struck out nine of the 25 batters he faced, walking just two. Lots of weak contact too.

-- The Giants stole six bases in this game, the most they've stolen in a game since 1987.

-- That 11th inning from Brian Wilson....wow. It's not often a pitcher gets by with a scoreless inning while tallying three walks and zero strikeouts. Wilson himself had never done it before.

-- Perfectly executed squeeze.
