- The starting lineup. It consisted of three guys who I didn't expect to see playing regularly in 2011, let alone in May: Emmanuel Burriss, Chris Stewart, Brandon Crawford. The sad thing is, I beginning to actually believe that Crawford and Burriss might be better options than Miguel Tejada, who has yet to show serious signs of life. In fact, if Crawford's glove is as good as I expect it to be, he'd only need to hit to the tune of a .280ish weighted on-base average to match the production I expect from Tejada.
- Matt Cain got BABIP'd (.500) and LOB'd (53.8%) pretty badly.
- Emmanuel Burriss is not a third baseman.
- Brandon Belt is not an outfielder.
- Santiago Casilla averaged 96.6 MPH on his four-seamer in 2010. This year, it was down to 93.7 MPH before he hit the DL. He threw eight four-seamers today at an average speed of 93.3 MPH, maxing out at 94.9
