I'll update this with the San Francisco Giants' draft picks as they go along...
2: Andrew Susac, C, Oregon State
Great pick for the 2nd round, as many had Susac as a late-first-round talent. Best college defensive catcher in the draft, and has a pretty solid bat with plus potential. He ultimately projects as a possible everyday catcher with above average power.
3: Ricky Oropesa, 1B, USC
Probably going to stick at 1B because he lacks range/speed, even though he has a strong arm. Gobroks of MLB Bonus Baby describes him as Chris Dominguez with more walks, less athleticism. He's got good power, but is pretty prone to strikeouts. A strong build (6'3, 225 lbs), probably projects as an average hitter at first base -- he's had struggles against LHP, and chases a lot of breaking balls. The power's legit, but he has to hit well to be of value at first base.
4: Bryce Bandilla, LHP, Arizona
Another big guy (6'4, 237 lbs), tops out at 97 with his fastball (sits between 92 and 95). Has an above-average changeup, and needs to work on his fastball command. Described as inconsistent, with a delivery that requires some effort (prone to flying open). Baseball America writes that he has the potential to start, because a LHP with his velocity is a rare asset.
5: Chris Marlowe, RHP, Oklahoma State
Projects as a reliever. Averaged 15.5 K/9 at Oklahoma State. Throws FB that sits between 92 and 95, topping out at 97; also has a good curve (83-84 MPH), though he has a tendency to rely on it too much.
6: Joshua Osich, LHP, Oregon State
He fell low in the draft due to his injury history (he had Tommy John surgery in 2010), but he bounced back pretty well this year, posting a solid 3.47 FIP (park/schedule-adjusted) in 77 innings this year. Now, obviously, don't get too hung up on his stats, but he can touch 98 with his fastball (sits between 90 and 94) and while he's described mostly as a fastball-changeup guy, he has a slider with plus potential. Given his age and stuff, he has the potential to move very quickly through the Giants' farm system if he can stay healthy. Projects as a reliever.
7: Raymond Black, RHP, Pittsburgh
A good sleeper prospect, though he has an injury history (Tommy John out of high school, knee injury in 2010). He's got a fastball that sits between 94 and 97, and a slider with plus potential. Big, strong power reliever (6'5, 225 lbs), but still very raw.

9: Derek Law, RHP, Miami Dade CC South
