Game Recap: Padres 5, Giants 3

There's no elegant way to put this: playing the Padres sucks. They're like a clone of the Giants, except with a much less flashy rotation. They both have elite bullpens, and they both have incompetent offenses.

So when the Giants' starting pitching -- the reason the Giants are a better team than the Padres -- fails to be excellent, the Giants lose.

Just throwing a name out there (joining @gggiants' bandwagon): Jeff Keppinger. Play Mike Fontenot at second-base against right-handed pitching, use Keppinger against LHPs. He'd provide depth all around the infield, as he can play second-base, shortstop, and third base. He'd certainly be an upgrade over Bill Hall and Emmanuel Burriss.

I am not content with Miguel Tejada as a regular second baseman going forward.
