I've got a question...
What kind of Aubrey Huff are we going to be seeing for the rest of the season? Because, for better or for worse, he's an integral part of this lineup.
Consider this (his numbers entering today) --
June: .308/.352/.554
Hey, things are better, right?
Not so fast...
Since June 3rd: .268/.311/.339
He's going to be in the lineup every day, so which Huff will we see for the rest of the season? The one that slugs in the mid-.300s or the one that slugs in the mid-.500s? (The easy guess, of course, lies somewhere in the middle.)

Of course, the offense as a whole, not Huff alone, deserves the blame for not possessing the ability to score runs. Brandon Crawford, Miguel Tejada, Emmanuel Burriss, Bill Hall. Those are our middle infielders. Bleh.
Meanwhile, Eli Whiteside and Chris Stewart are still our catchers. I would have pulled the trigger on a Santiago Casilla-for-Yorvit Torrealba trade by now (sans-cash-exchange, even).
The reality is, this is just a horrendously bad offense. The worst in the majors, really. I'll stand by what I said the other day.
